Korea new rising idol group "Wanna One" made their first appearance in Hong Kong on the 3rd October for their fan meeting "WANNA ONE 1st FAN MEETING IN HONG KONG". Due to security reasons, the event started almost 2 hours late, but it did not affect the enthusiasm of their fans Wannables, who welcomed their first song "Pick me" with huge cheers.
The first segment of the fan meeting titled "Welcome to Wanna One School", comprised of speaking in Cantonese, drawing and dance lessons. During the Cantonese lesson, WANNA ONE introduced their names in Cantonese and also expressed their feelings of having their first fan meeting in Hong Kong. Their excellent spoken Cantonese surprised all Hong Kong Wannables! In drawing lesson, they drew each other and leader Jisung drew Daniel as Kakao character Apeach! Wanna One then signed and gave their drawings to lucky fans. Dance lesson was carried out in the form where random songs were played and all members needed to dance immediately. They performed best in the song “Gangnam Style” by PSY and “Pick Me” from I.O.I, and Wannables were all clapping to their fabulous dancing.
After performing their songs "Never", "Hands on me", "Burn it up" and "Wanna Be (My baby)", Q&A time started. Member Jihoon showed his famous aegyo "Jeojang", while Minhyun performed a booty dance which caused him to be unable to look at his members or Wannables due to embarrassment. He actually went to hide in a corner after that dance which drove the fans wild! Kuanlin displayed a little bit of Mandarin freestyle rap and Wannables all expressed their amazement as lots of “Oohs” and “Aahs” could be heard coming from within the audience.
Hong Kong Wannables prepared a video including the scenes in program "Produce 101" and also the moment Wanna One got No. 1 in music programmes. All members were so moved and leader Jisung was brought to the verge of tears. He promised that they will work harder to thank Wannables for their support. Jaehwan said that he was deeply touched and they will surely meet again next time. Daehwi thought that Hong Kong Wannables were very cute and Wanna One will come to Hong Kong more often.

Earlier in the day, Wanna One held their press conference with the media.
Wanna One is a boy group project where all 11 members were picked from survival TV program "Produce 101 Season 2". They are now holding "Wanna Be Loved" fan meeting in Asian countries such as Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong. Sungwoon said he had been to Hong Kong previously and he thought wonton and dumpling are very tasty. Leader Jisung felt glad that they can spend Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day) with fans.
The Organizer prepared two kinds of Chinese mooncakes: Snow skin mooncake and five kernels mooncakes for Wanna One to taste. Kuanlin said that he comes from Taiwan so he has tried the mooncakes before and Minhyun said that both mooncakes were delicious. The organizer also gave a Chinese traditional stamp which engraved "워너원" (Wanna One in Korean), and leader Jisung received it on behalf of Wanna One.
When asked on their feelings on getting multiple “No. 1s” in various music shows in Korea, they said they really felt thankful for their fans Wannables.
If given a chance to do something with fellow members. Woojin mentioned that he would love to travel leisurely with the members and it would be more interesting if Wannables are able to join them as well.
When asking what is the housework division among Wanna One in their dormitory, they answered that Minhyun was in charged of cleaning, while Jinyoung and Daniel were the members that were the laziest.
Talking about their childhood dreams, Kuanlin said he wanted to be NBA player; Seongwu dreamt of being an actor-dancer. Jaehwan wanted to be football player but he entered the audition and became a singer now. Daniel said that he wanted to be a director when he was young, but now wants to become Spiderman, which brought about roaring laughter from all the other members.
