May 2nd, 2015, Toronto Canada – South Korean Boyband NU’EST, consisting JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren sent their North American fans into a frenzy during the first Kpop Convention in Canada, TKC2015, held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The 5-member group debuted under Pledis Entertainment back in 2012 and their fans love them for their amazing singing and dancing ablilities. Not to forget their bright, fun personalities too. They indeed brought many L.O.Λ.E s together on this day.
At 8pm when the concert started after several amazing covers from various dance groups, NU’EST finally took the stage amidst the screams of the fans. The 5 members opened the concert with their well-loved song, “HELLO”. The excited fans started waving their pink lightsticks and with the spotlights only shining on the boys, the sea of pink was an immensely pretty sight!

Despite the long flight, the 5 boys were cheerful and playful on stage, bringing their best performance to the fans in Toronto. The members even actively interacted with the fans who were seated in the first few rows by waving to them and giving handshakes whenever they could!
The translator, Cj Kim was there for the boys as they spoke to their fans. JR told the crowd that even though that it was a long journey from Korea to Canada, he would love to come back so that they can meet the fans again. Ren shouting “Canada, I Love You!” made the fans erupt into cheers once again.

The event continued on with the boys singing more of their songs such as Introduce Me to Your Noona, Sandy, Good Bye Bye, Beautiful Solo, Action and many more. Halfway through the performance, L.O.Λ.E s raised the banners they prepared for Baekho to show their support for him. The banner was written in Hangul and the message was: Stay Strong Like a Tiger. Baekho mentioned that he was really touched by the fans support and we noticed that he couldn’t stop smiling! Toronto L.O.Λ.E s, well done!
NU’EST wrapped up the concert with their thank-you speeches to the audience and later on, an encore session with a repertoire of songs including their debut song, FACE. The concert really brought the house down and we really enjoyed it!
