March 9, 2014 - SINGAPORE Holding their concert in Singapore on 8 March 2014 is K-pop Band F.T Island! After what seem like eternity for their fans, the Singapore Primadonnas, they have finally returned to the stage to give them a night they would want to relive over and over again.

2014 FT Island 6th Anniversary Concert “FTHX” Live in Singapore was full of moments for the fans to get closer to their favorite idols. FTHX – which means FT = THANX, is dedicated to all their fans that have cheered on and supported them for the past years, through out their good times and bad times.

During the Press Conference held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Plaza on 7 March, the iconic rock band were grilled with several questions, from sneak previews of their concert to how they feel about coming back to Singapore.

The Press Conference started with the members introducing themselves. As they were doing so, the sounds of camera shutters filled the room. When they were asked how they felt about coming back to Singapore, Hongki commented that the difference in weather is very big. As compared to the weather in Korea, it is too hot here in Singapore. He added saying that he felt that his cold symptoms were coming back because he had switched on the air-conditioning a little too strong. The emcee had suggested that he and the members could wear less clothing; he went on to say that their stylist had told them to dress up for the press conference. When complimented that that look fantastic, no doubt Hongki jokingly commented that he knew that he looked fantastic.

The fans are in for a treat as they went on saying that this concert is compromises of ideas by each and every one of the members and they hope that the fans would enjoy and go crazy during the concert.

At the end of the press conference, they were told to say something to the fans that would be attending the concert. It was really sweet to know how much they value their fans. Knowing that most of their female fans usually wear high heels to their concert, their advice to them was to come to the concert wearing sneakers or trainers and enjoy FT Island’s music! They also added on saying that the fan’s legs and arms would be tired during the concert, so fans should dress comfortably and drink lots of water.

FT Island is happy to be in Singapore and I do hope that the Singapore Primadonnas would be ecstatic to see them as well!

December 18, 2013 - As reported on 16th Dec by Korea media outlet, FTISLAND’s Lee Hong Gi current promotion is put on halt due to his recent injury. His agency told Korea media outlet - TV Daily on December 16: "After he finished filming TV Chosun's 'Bride of the Century,' he suffered injuries on his way back home." It was revealed that after he finished filming, he went to eat with the staff members.  On his way home, he slipped on ice, dislocating his shoulder and fracturing his face, both of which would take 6 weeks to heal completely.  

FTISLAND is scheduled to perform here on 8th March at Singapore Indoor Stadium, As Hong Gi is scheduled to resume work from end January 2014, hence their long awaited FTISLAND FTHX Singapore Concert will not be affected.
