The very first SORIBADA BEST K-MUSIC AWARDS (2017 SOBA) will be held on 20th September, 6:30PM at the Jamsil Education Student Gynasium!

2017 SOBA will feature at least 20 groups of artistes which include well-known names like WANNA ONE, TWICE, BTOB, Monsta X, BAP, NCT127 and more. This is the first-time ever for this music awards ceremony and 2017 SOBA will be broadcasted over several platforms including SNS as well as live streaming to reach out to the international audience. 

Since 2000, SORIBADA has provided quality k-pop music within Korea and it has successfully branched out to be a choice peer-to-peer file sharing service site! 2017 SORIBADA will be providing content on 20th September in 7 languages including English, Mandarin and Japanese.

Korean boy group BTOB attended a press conference at APM Mall in Hong Kong on the 13th July in good time before their concert “BTOB Time Concert in Hong Kong” the following day.

All members comprising of Hyun-Sik, Illhoon, Peniel, Minhyuk, Sungjae and leader Eun Kwang made an appearance to meet their Hong Kong fans while member Changsub was not present due to other schedules.

Known as the “sold-out” group, giving an indication of their popularity in the entertainment industry, BTOB impressed the crowd with their sincerity. Although it was the group’s 2nd appearance at APM Mall, the members still expressed much love for Hong Kong and their fans. Rapper Illhoon mentioned that he would really love to have some nice and delicious “Xiao Long Bao” in Hong Kong while Eun Kwang shared with us his current Milk Tea craze and it was a must-drink in Hong Kong which he was looking forward to. Sungjae said that Hong Kong is a shopping paradise which was in line with his love for shopping, which he does when he has free time. When asked about their leisure activities when they have no schedules, we found out that BTOB are pretty much thrill seekers! Eun Kwang said that he enjoys Escape Room Game with members Sungjae and Hyunsik!

As the 7-member group is mainly divided into the voal and rapper line, maknae Sungjae highlighted that it was a really cool point of the group, and what really differed BTOB from the other groups were their distinctive personal styles that were representative of each member uniquely. When being asking about their love for sports, all members agreed that Minhyuk was the best at sports and they all gave a hand at the digital basketball game on the spot, displaying their impressive basketball shooting skills, much to the delight of MELODIES.

At the end of the press conference, BTOB thanked the fans fervently for coming and promised that they will return to Hong Kong more frequently.

BTOB (acronym for Born to Beat) is a South Korean boy group formed in 2012 by Cube Entertainment. The group consists of Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon, and Sungjae. The group debuted on March 21, 2012, performing on M! Countdown with "Insane" and "Imagine". They released their first full-length album, Complete, in 2015.

Member Sungjae starred in tvN's hit Korean drama Guardian: The Lonely and Great God(2016-2017).

In this 5 years, BTOB had won various awards such as 《2015 KBS Music Festival》 Singer of the year、《Golden Disk Awards 2016》 Best Vocal Group、《Seoul Music Awards 2016》Ballad Award、《Korea Cable TV Awards 2017》Hallyu Star Award. 

In year 2015, BTOB had a live concert 2015 BTOB Concert in Hong Kong in Hong Kong and this time they are going to visit Hong Kong again with their newly release EP 《Feel'em》, and the title song "Movie" got the champion in Show Champion dated 2017 March 15. 

This time BTOB is going to have their 2nd concert in Hong Kong and interactive closely with their MELODY fans. You will surely be surprised by BTOB’s powerful and wonderful live stage performance!

KCON 2017 Japan was held from 19 – 21 May 2017 at the Makuhari Messe. Eager to see the star-studded line-up, K-Pop fans waited with much joy and excitement for their favorite idols to perform and interact with them  during the convention.

This three-day extravaganza had a wide array of activities to promote the Hallyu culture in Japan. Ranging from a day-time convention that promoted anything K-related; K-POP Music, K-DRAMA, K-BEAUTY, Korean FOOD, right down to one of Korea's Famous Music Show MCOUNTDOWN, where many artistes brought about spectacular performances.

During the course of three days of the convention, several K-Pop groups came on stage to make an appearance and answered some questions from the media.

Two members of CLC, a girl group under Cube Entertainment, came on stage with their mini cooking show and they made Rice Pizza on the spot. Similarly, under Cube Entertainment, boy group SF9 revealed that they will be having their debut in Japan on 7th June with their single “Fanfare”. Each member showed their special talent and did a successful “Random Play Dance”!

8-member female group, LOVELYZ, mentioned that they would like to debut in Japan someday and they have been preparing as much as they can. Fans were excited to hear and can't wait for them to do so!

Red carpet sessions were held for all three days of KCON 2017 Japan.

December 4, 2015 - The night was filled with fun games and good music as Korean Pop group, Born to Beat (BtoB), hit the stage at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre! 

The group kicked started their Fan Meet with their hit song <<WOW>>!! This so got the fans screaming their lungs out as they see their favorite Oppas groove it out on stage.

The first game with BTOB was one that the boys needed make expressions based on scenarios given by the hosts!  BtoB got Melodies into a laughing frenzy with their exaggerated expressions. Our personal favorites were Leader Eunkwang's and Minhyuk's cute face.  Eunkwang managed to clinched the winning the most hearts during the game! 

The next song performed was  <<It's Okay>>. The combination of the boy's sleek dances moves on high stools and the intense sexy look that they give to their fans got Melodies' heart melting at their seats!

BtoB picked out fans for their next game, choosing fans by a random lucky draw dip by each member.
On the hearts that they picked out, it had the winners wish of how they wanted to interact with the member onstage. It was randomly placed on the ladder board. 

Fans had hugs, back hugs and selfies with the favorite idols! A Japanese fan even had to chance to Cheers a drink with Sungjae!

 The Fan Meet went on with the songs, <<Way Back Home>>, <<Beep Beep>>,  <<2nd Confession>>, <<Like a Crystal>>, <<Insane>> and <<Thriller>>!

As the Fan Meeet draws near to a close, BtoB made the fans promise not to cheat on them after they return to South Korea and they also promised to return as often as possible.

The whole Fan Meet ended with the Encore songs <<Shake It>>!

Korean boyband BTOB arrived in Hong Kong for APM Mall’s 11th anniversary event on the 6th of September, drawing a huge number of fans crowding the mall! Also named as “MELODY”, the fan club name for the fans of BTOB, eager fans arrived early morning at APM to get good spots to catch a glimpse of their favourite boys.

Vocalist Hyunsik, wowed both the fans and media with fluent Chinese, showcasing his talent and ability in languages. He also said ‘thank you’ in Cantonese while the other members greeted fans in English. The members of BTOB proceeded with a game with 7 lucky fans, including photo-taking opportunities as well as various fan service requests.

The 7 idols performed a total of 5 songs namely <Thriller> , <WOW>, <Beep Beep>, <2nd Confession>, and <It’s Okay>, drawing much cheers and screams from their avid fans! During the interview segment, BTOB mentioned that they were surprised and happy to see a huge number of fans at the event as it was their first time in Hong Kong after their debut of 3 years. The event ended with a mini fan-sign session with the fans.
