Korean boy group BTOB attended a press conference at APM Mall in Hong Kong on the 13th July in good time before their concert “BTOB Time Concert in Hong Kong” the following day.
All members comprising of Hyun-Sik, Illhoon, Peniel, Minhyuk, Sungjae and leader Eun Kwang made an appearance to meet their Hong Kong fans while member Changsub was not present due to other schedules.
Known as the “sold-out” group, giving an indication of their popularity in the entertainment industry, BTOB impressed the crowd with their sincerity. Although it was the group’s 2nd appearance at APM Mall, the members still expressed much love for Hong Kong and their fans. Rapper Illhoon mentioned that he would really love to have some nice and delicious “Xiao Long Bao” in Hong Kong while Eun Kwang shared with us his current Milk Tea craze and it was a must-drink in Hong Kong which he was looking forward to. Sungjae said that Hong Kong is a shopping paradise which was in line with his love for shopping, which he does when he has free time. When asked about their leisure activities when they have no schedules, we found out that BTOB are pretty much thrill seekers! Eun Kwang said that he enjoys Escape Room Game with members Sungjae and Hyunsik!
As the 7-member group is mainly divided into the voal and rapper line, maknae Sungjae highlighted that it was a really cool point of the group, and what really differed BTOB from the other groups were their distinctive personal styles that were representative of each member uniquely. When being asking about their love for sports, all members agreed that Minhyuk was the best at sports and they all gave a hand at the digital basketball game on the spot, displaying their impressive basketball shooting skills, much to the delight of MELODIES.
At the end of the press conference, BTOB thanked the fans fervently for coming and promised that they will return to Hong Kong more frequently.
