August 28, 2015 – In its 3rd running year, the Korea Brand and Entertainment Expo (KBEE) was held in Shanghai after its 2 years in London and Brazil respectively. This year’s expo saw a star-studded line-up at the Shanghai Intex.

Honorary Ambassadors of KBEE 2015, boy band INFINITE graced the opening ceremony alongside Asia’s Prince and also cast of Running Man, Lee Kwang Soo. A lighting ceremony launched the opening of KBEE 2015 and as a mark of friendly China-Korea relations, the artistes brought about a Chinese song titled “Friends”. “Friends” was originally a song sung by multiple award-winning Singer-Songwriter, Wakin Chau.

After a short break, LOVELYZ, a girl group under Woollim Entertainment who is also parent company to INFINITE, performed their hit song “Candy Jelly Love”. The cute and lovely girls continued on with a rendition of “Tian Mi Mi”, a well-liked Chinese tune by the late Teresa Teng, and their splendid performance did get the crowd cheering!

INFINITE comprising of Sungkyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L and Sungjong then took over the stage with their first song “Back”. Their slick and synchronized dance moves got the crowds hyped up and the boys continuously engaged the crowd with a soothing song “Love Letter”, exemplifying their vocal power. Lastly, INFINITE drove the audience into frenzy with their latest hit “Bad”, evoking much shrieks and screams from the female fans.

The last segment of KBEE 2015 was concluded by a fan-sign session with Lee Kwang Soo.  The South Korean actor and entertainer took Shanghai by storm as fans erupted in shouts in a bid for the superstar’s attention. Participants of the fan-sign session had their wishes fulfilled, obtaining both the signatures and a photo opportunity with Lee Kwang Soo.

We would like to thank KOTRA for inviting us to cover this event and we look forward to the next KBEE!
