South Club started the concert by performing the song “See You”, followed by “Dirty House” and “I.D.S”, all of which are from their first album “90”. On behalf of South Club, Taehyun then greeted the fans and said that Hong Kong was his favourite city, and that they were all very excited to come to Hong Kong to perform their musics. Apart from their own songs, South Club also performed a number of western titles including “Sex”, “Yer Blues”, “The Spy” and “Greedy Soul”.
The concert also showed a short video of Taehyun, expressing his thoughts and emotions about life. Taehyun said that there would be difficult times in life but he had learn to change his thinking in order to overcome his fear, and to face the challenges ahead with courage. Although he still felt anxious sometimes, he believed music could change the world and he really enjoyed the stage now. The video was followed by the performance of “Hug Me”, which was the first song released by South Club. They also introduced their new song “Who’s This Song For” to the fans. “Who’s This Song For?” is composed by Taehyun and he also wrote the lyrics to memorize a sad love story.
Throughout the performance, Taehyun interacted a lot with the fans. The fans prepared cheering project with slogans and roses which all members of South Club were really touched. Taehyun threw roses to the fans and even gave away his guitar as a gift.
South Club encored for their fans with the songs “Believe U”, “Don’t Let Me Down and ended the concert with “Hug Me”. Taehyun said he would work hard to bring more music to the fans this year and he looked forward to seeing his fans again soon.
South Club will start their European tour April this year, performing in cities including London, Madrid, Paris and Cologne.
