The smouldering eyes heartthrob So Ji Sub held his fanmeet in Hong Kong at the KITEC rotunda 3 on 27th april in commemoration of his debut for 20 years. The fanmeet is is segmented into 2 parts; The first half of the fanmeet consisted of sharings from the actor as well fan interactions.
The fanmeet commenced about 8pm and fans erupted into loud cheers when So Ji Sub took the stage, saying that he missed the fans of Hong Kong so much, and he wished to make good memories again during the fanmeet.
The 40-year-old actor prepared videos for the fan meet so that the fans could see the real side of him as he felt that he was not good with words. When he had to make a choice of choosing between a triathlon or taking care of children, his choice of the latter option surprised the audience. So Ji Sub revealed that he loves children, refuting external claims and ages of his chic and athletic image.
In order for close interactions with the fans, the fans were asked to submit questions to So Ji Sub before the fanmeet and he picked a few questions on the spot to answer, inciting much excitement from the audience. In a following video, So Ji Sub shared many moments of his younger days as well as his thoughts and feelings as an actor. "I'm very thankful that i'm able to go on this path as an actor and I will continue working hard to show even better sides of me," he said. He also highlighted that he is not someone who regrets his actions and even if he had the chance to turn back time, he would just tell himself to always be improving.
So Ji Sub showed a sweet side of himself when he prepared his favourite self hand-made peach perfume for a few lucky fans. He also got ready two bags of gifts and 20 autographed posters to give out to lucky fans.
For the second half of the fan meet, Soul Dive and DJ Juice joined the stage to bring about their hip hop tunes and . So Ji Sub also performed , , and his iconic , drawing a union of "so ganzi so so ganzi" from the hyped up crowd.
So Ji Sub performed a total of 13 songs and the fan meet ended with and . 200 lucky fans were also granted photo opportunities with the actor.
So Ji Sub will be bringing a close to his fan meet series with the last 2 sessions held in Seoul. He has met fans earlier in Taipei, Indonesia, Singapore and China. The actor's upcoming film with Song Joong Ki is expected to start airing in South Korea in July.
