Distinguished media guests were treated to an "Experience innisfree" intriguing walkthrough to deepen their understanding of the naturalist K-beauty brand in a light-hearted manner. The first stop, The Story of innisfree, highlighted the brand’s history and philosophy, while elaborating its engagement in the pristine island of Jeju through vivid infographics. Guests also tried and tested selected innisfree products from their eight customized skincare lines in the 8 Solutions Display Zone and developed an in-depth understanding on the natural ingredients used through a large-scale 8 Solutions Ingredient Map. Through the winding zones, guests learnt about innisfree’s green efforts, environmental conservation projects and its successful foray into global markets from the Green Life Campaign, Corporate Social Responsibility and Global innisfree Zones respectively. A favored section of many guests was the Lee Min Ho’s Exhibition Zone where images of Lee Min Ho from various innisfree campaigns were displayed on a pictorial wall, allowing engaging and picture-perfect snaps to be taken and shared on social media.
International Marketing Director Mrs. Koo Ae-ran and Manager of innisfree Marketing Innovation Team Mrs. Kim Yun Hye were both on-site to share more about the eco-conscious brand to the media in Singapore. Mrs. Koo made salient points on how Singapore is the perfect environment for innisfree to flourish as there is a discerning and trendy customer base here that gears towards natural products. She says, "We appreciate Singapore's support that has led to the rousing success of the recent Grand Opening of our innisfree flagship store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre. innisfree strives to continuously grow and improve to become the number one natural beauty brand in Asia."
In addition, Mrs. Kim talked about the brand's concept embedded in the mutually beneficial relationship between innisfree and Jeju Island. All eight customized skincare product lines that target a variety of skincare concerns for the Asian women utilize pure ingredients from Jeju.
The official step of innisfree into Singapore was commemorated with a symbolic ceremony, where distinguished guests Mrs. Koo, Mrs. Kim and Lee Min Ho watered a green tea plant to raucous applause. This signified innisfree’s promise to spread green beauty in Singapore, directly delivering the natural benefits of Jeju to local consumers.
The night before, Lee Min Ho had paid a visit to the local innisfree flagship store to handpick his favourite products for five of his lucky fans. While on-site, he filmed a short clip introducing innisfree’s entrance into Singapore, and gave a shout-out to his fanbase.
