It was a memorable and fun weekend for HIGH5 (HIGH4 fanclub name) as HIGH4 had their 3 days (4th September to 6th September) showcase Promotional Tour in THREE Shopping Malls in Malaysia – Seremban Prima, Summit Subang USJ and Hartamas Shopping Centre.
HIGH4’s first promo tour showcase started off on Friday night (4th September) in Seremban Prima. Many fans flew in from abroad and other states just to watch HIGH4 perform. HIGH4 performed 4 songs - “Day by Day”, “Baby Boy”, “Headache” and “True Love”. The crowd went wild as they showcased their good vocals and energetic dance moves. The boys were really friendly and greeted fans who came to support them. They expressed their happiness and gratitude that they finally had the chance to meet Malaysian HIGH5. Myunghan even showed off his ability of speaking Malay by saying “Aku Cinta Padamu”. Not only that, each member showed of their various special talents of beat boxing, singing and aegyo (acting cute).

The showcase continued with High4 playing Games with their fans. The boys came down the stage and each of them chose a lucky fan to partner up for a game of charades. Each HIGH4 members had to act out the action that describes the word and the fans have to guess the right word. The members brought much laughter to the crowd as the members acted funnily on stage and tried their best.
Following the game, High4 sang an English song “I’m Yours” by Jason Mraz. They even came down from the stage to have closer interaction with fans. For their encore, they performed their debut song featuring IU, “Not Spring, Love or Cherry Blossom”. It was very a sweet and joyful moment that fans sang along to IU’s part together with HIGH4 with such great harmony.
Though the performance had ended, the boys continued on with a photo session with sponsors and the lucky fans that got photo passes.
The whole event ended after the Fan Sign. The boys were reluctant to bid their goodbye.
The Promotional Showcase Tour continued for the next few days at Summit Subang USJ on Saturday and Hartamas Shopping Centre on Sunday. Both the two showcases were pretty similar to the first showcase except that HIGH4 covered different English song on the both days. On Saturday, they covered “With You” by Chris Brown and on “Down” by Jay Sean on Sunday.
It was an amazing 3 days that has brought much joy to HIGH5.
We wish HIGH4 all the best and hope to see them in Malaysia again soon.
