May 14, 2015 – South Korean Actress Yoon Eun Hye was in Singapore this week to attend Singapore Fashion Week 2015. The actress-model is L’Oreal’s first Asian Spokesperson and having participated in several dramas such as Princess Hours and Marry Him If You Dare, Yoon has tried on various styles.
When asked about her thoughts about being L’Oreal’s first Asian Ambassador, Ms Yoon expressed that it was an honour to be representing a world-wide known brand and she personally, was also a fan of L’Oreal’s products.
“I’m currently using this new L’Oreal product which I apply on my hair ends. It makes my hair look smooth and shiny” remarked the 30+ year old. Yoon Eun Hye frequents the hair salon and also brings around her own set of hair-care products when she travels overseas for work. When speaking about being a K-star, having to try out different hair styles, Yoon Eun Hye remarked that she spends a lot of time in caring for her hair.
Inspired by the Korean beauty trend of having a small V-shaped face, the V-Look by L’Oréal Professionnel helps Asian women of all face shapes to achieve a slimmer face and V-line without the use of cosmetics or surgery. The hairdresser will use a combination of precise haircut techniques with smart-but-simple colour placements to create the ideal V-shaped face.
“My interest revolves around fashion and I will do research on my own. I get advice from L’Oreal professionals too!” said Yoon. In exchange, she gets asked questions by the professionals that she consults on the latest trends in fashion. The famous actress adds that she does much research on the latest fashion trends by searching the internet or through browsing of magazines, and she feels thankful that the public views her as trendy.
On top of that, Yoon Eun Hye also revealed some updates of her current work schedule. She stated that she is now filming a movie that is a Korea-China collaboration, and she hopes to appear to take on projects that are related to fashion and beauty. When talking about appearing on Running Man, Yoon laughed and said that she will be put into the same team as Kim Jong Kook.
Q: What is your opinion on the dress sense of Singaporean Men?
A: I haven’t met many Singaporean men and so I cannot judge. However, by looking at the dressing of the emcee (Pornsark), he has good fashion sense so I would assume that Singaporean men have this good image.
Q: Do you have any advice for teenagers who are looking for their own style?
A: I think teenagers can try everything they want or like because if you don’t try, you would not know. However, they should not try something too exaggerating like putting on heavy make-up on a young-looking face. The definition of true beauty is inner beauty. Having confidence and being happy with yourself makes one beautiful
Yoon Eun Hye also voiced out that it was difficult to meet the expectations of others as expectation levels vary from individual to individual and being a hallyu star, she will strive to do her fullest and return the love of her fans.
