[REPORT] Press conference of GOT7 1ST FAN MEETING IN SINGAPORE

April 25th, 2015 – Just hours before their First Fan Meeting in Singapore, the rookie K-pop idol group GOT7 had their press conference at Kallang Theatre.  GOT7 debuted in January 2014 with 7 members, Mark, JB, Jackson, Jr, Youngjae, Bambam and Yugyeom. But what makes this group interesting is that the group consists of members not only from Korea, but from Hong Kong, Thailand and United States of America.

During the press conference, the members of GOT7 have a very good impression of Singapore, saying that Singapore is beautiful and clean. Because it is the first time in Singapore for most members, they would like to try the local delicacies.  Jackson vividly remembers visiting Singapore during the 2010 Youth Olympic Games when he represented Hong Kong in the fencing category. He has memories visiting Republic Polytechnic and the Night Safari. He also knows that chewing gum is not allowed here.


When talking about Jackson’s success in variety programs, leader of GOT7, JB went on to say that he is thankful that Jackson appearing on variety program Roommate has brought more attention to the group and would love that the remaining members to participate in variety shows when the opportunity arises. He, himself, would like to join a program that he is able to show his true self on screen. Bambam also added that he would like to join a program that has sports activities.

Talking about the craziest fan experience, Jackson mentioned that the most passionate fans scream louder than the microphones. That’s when he feels the most passion when performing on stage.

GOT7 promises to return to Singapore to hold a full-fledged concert. IGOT7s are in for another treat soon!
