During the media conference, Lee Je-Hoon expressed that it was not his first time in Singapore and his favourite dish is none other than Chilli Crab! Two years ago when he came to Singapore for a short trip, the actor tried chicken rice and laksa. However, it seems like the rich and spicy noodle dish did not resonate well with him and he says that he would need "more courage" to try it again.
Lee Je-Hoon's character in Tomorrow with You is one that is able to travel through time. When asked about his desire to be alike his character in the drama, the actor said that he would still prefer to live in the present and enjoy each moment although it is good to know what is going to happen in the future. If he could turn back time, the actor mentioned that he would like to go back to his middle school days where he had great memories with his friends and teachers. The chirpy actor also spoke of himself being mischevious and playful back then!
On the topic that was related to the drama, Lee Je-Hoon revealed that he had a great working relationship with co-star Shin Min-A. The actor said that he was a big fan of her before the start of the drama and as they were same-age friends, he told her to speak to him comfortably and after being on the set for some time, the actor that she was a very "warm person". In both time-travelling dramas that he took part in, Lee Je-Hoon mentioned that the scenes in Tomorrow with You were easier to act out as compared to those in Signal, when he had to empathize with victims in his detective role. Lee Je-Hoon also realised that he was actually "more romantic that he thought" he would be after filming Tomorrow with You. He shared that the most romantic thing he did for a girl: Buying 100 coffee milk, a drink that the girl likes, and confessing his love for her. Of course, with such sincerity, the actor succeeded!
In future, Lee Je-Hoon wishes to take up different roles such as playing a boxer, doctor or lawyer! The actor divulges that it would be good if it could come as a 3-in-1 role! He admitted that he is happy with his own physique now to be able to take on these roles and mentioned that it would be interesting to play villian roles such as a psychopath.
In relation to his role in Tomorrow with You , where Yoo So-Joon travels though time by the subway, the actor told us that he had not been on the subway for a good 5 to 6 years. Previously when he traveled by this public transport mode, he stated that he would either be catching up on some sleep or reading magazines on the go.
With his rising fame and popularity now, Lee Je-Hoon admitted that he feels a little sorry towards his fans as he is not good at using social media. "I'm bad at managing them," the actor confessed. He says he makes the effort to go on to these platforms to read the comments from fans but he has no intention of starting up any SNS accounts. At the end of the press conference, Lee Je-Hoon politely bade farewell to the media and he is really gentle and friendly! The actor also met up with fans at Westmall Atrium in the evening after the media conference.
